The letter...
It might seem funny- my month long efforts in bringing you this letter is just for a minute or two's reading for you. But still, let me present you with some collections for your long forgotten days. The winters are slowly evading and so are my zing for life. I don't enjoy cricket as i used to, mafia wars' is just a waste of time and with my reliance call plan getting terminated, my time in solitude prevails long and loud. and just like 'fashion' which goes and comes back, my interest in writing seems to have bloomed once again in me.
Life's moved a long long way in the last few years. Opportunities have come and gone like the dried leaves getting blown by the winds. the same old question comes again-'What now? Where from here?'. Now that the B.Tech is on its brink, I still ponder what to do- MBA? M. Tech? Government job? IT job? Now that my profession is not earning me a job, lets hope that my passion gets me one.
For years I've been advising people around me to live and think at a higher perspective; not to think life in one dimension; but to think from all possible ways to it. but now, i feel myself confused and unidimensional. Something strange is about to happen...

Year 2010
After 3 forgettable years at college, 2010 saw me enjoying the college life. Thanks to the confidence I got from Moser Baer. The friend circle though was restricted to my henchmen- Srikant, Mayank, Gaurav. Each day revolved around them. Visit to the defence expo, the electronics expe and the Commonwealth games were some fine moments of the year. On the other side, the tussle between Mayank and Gaurav was a sad and needless incident.
Even though Royalskienz was given less priority than before, but the year saw the maximum number of small and big Get2gethers. Most of our G2G’s were at home- which really helped us spend quality time with each other. The centre of G2G’s was shifted from PK’s home to my home. Prashant, remya and Sudheesh were regular visitors here. We had a wonderful Onasadya (Onam G2G).
The two big events that happened to me this year was: Moser Baer and Mafia Wars. Both were addictive and exhaustive. After months in search for a training company it was at the very last moment that I got into Moser Baer. Though I wasn’t expecting much in the before the beginning, but the experience of the very first day changed my whole perception. For the next 1 month, I lived an executive life- wow, it was surprising by the amount of respect I got there. Most memorable moments at MB were the seminar session with ‘Senior Engineers’, where I shared seats with with some of the senior most officers at the plant. And the second memorable moment was during the data analysis of energy meter, where I was given the authority to call up the technicians and inquire and ask explanations for the discrepancy in data. My incharge, Mr. Pankaj Asthana and friend Pulkit Chauhan and Bhishmendra Kumar Pathak were the good fond there.
It was by accident that I started playing mafia wars. Just the heat of the moment that made me look up the game, and with the constant inspiration from sudheesh and srikant, I just got hooked into the game... so much so that in just 4 months, I was almost 600levels higher than them! MW was a big game changer (changed the game of my life), I made numerous new friends online- that too transnational friends. Suddenly I found myself in the midst of an all international society, and felt like an ambassador of India. It also took me to a lovely bohemian lady called Veronika Vavruskova (Czech Republic). What was once regarded as one of the toughest country name to spell, was now part of the daily routine, infact I even started learning Czech language! ‘Lady V’, as she is known was so friendl that the whole of RSKZ, my college friends and everybody around me got to know about her. Some other good friends met were- Jenson Teng(Singapore), Meli Vaskova(Slovakia), Lubomir Rendiar(Slovakia), Kia Robson and Lechelle Robson (UK), Selalu and Aburame Lim (Malaysia), Chad Washburn, Roberta Travis, Emma Fatalle, Bernard Jones(USA), Tedoro(France), Yulong (Italy).
An unexpected heart winner this year were the unity and hospitality that I found in the group called Cricmates. The was also the year that saw Cricmates losing out some of the biggest names- Jinson, Pradeep and Robin... that too in a quick succession. Things were quite normal in the first half of the year, but all changed drastically. To start off with, I would like to mention a group of new add-ons- the 5 fingers (Deepak, Shiljith, Sooraj, Suresh and Vipinlal), who joined in the month of Feb. In March, a shocking incident took place- a serious collision with Binoy that too on the 3rd anniversary of the Cricmates (14th march). Binoy had to be taken to the hospital and admitted to the emergency ward. It took him a good couple of months to recever. The real blow to the team, however was the departure of Jinson(september) and Pradeep(December). Clearly stating, it was the last couple of weeks with pradeep that Cricmates team enjoyed the most. It was now that the team really got as a single unit. New Year 2011 party and Pradeep’s Utlimate Party were the 2 best parties!
Now, coming to my personal life- that is me, my parents and Poo; this year saw some really bad twists, something which really shook my 6 years’ of love. Relation with my Parents on the other hand, was steady and peaceful- I made many valiant efforts not to have many altercations with them. Luckily it was fruitful. But relations with my Poo was not as smooth infact it was a bumpy drive all the year (but that never means that I’ll ever think about leaving her!!!). it all started with Poo’s visit to the ulsavam at her friend Sreelekshmi’s place, thanks to a friend called Akhil(Chavara). The incident really shook me off base. For the first time in our relation, Poo made me feel like a stranger in her life. For the first time, I was made to think about my decision of loving you at any cost. My mind lost all its peace. It all settled the moment she landed in delhi- and i must confess that those 2 months were the best months together with Pooz... But Poo’s return to kerala and my stay at Moser Baer- both happening in succession meant that we were again separated in space and time; and the seeds of doubts and irritation again crept in. The coming months saw frequent clashes between each other, and for the first time – I too got aggressive. To make things worse, another guy interfered between us- Sreekanth. The news that Poo will not come to delhi in December was a big blow.. but that made me more determined to keep loving. ‘Loving is easy when you’re near me; but the real test comes when ur far away in time and space’. The same would be my highest priority in 2011- to bring things back in order between us.
In a whole, the year saw me getting more aggressive in nature. I did many things that I had never dared to do before. Even the defeats could not stop my aggression. I had lots of great experiences and learned a lot of new things... thank you 2010
